NORFOLK, Va. – Due to inclement weather expected in the area, Old Dominion Baseball’s game at the University of Richmond this Tuesday, May 13 has been canceled and will not be made up.
The Monarchs (21-26, 15-12 Sun Belt) will be back at War Memorial Stadium this week as they wrap up the regular season against Coastal Carolina. The Sun Belt series will begin with a 6 p.m. game on Thursday. ODU and CCU then square off again at 3 p.m. on Friday and at 1 p.m. on Saturday. The series finale will also mark Senior Day for the Monarchs, and they will recognize their senior class in a ceremony prior to first pitch.
ODU is currently tied for fourth in the Sun Belt standings alongside Louisiana, while Coastal sits in first place. The Sun Belt Championship will be held on May 20-25 in Montgomery, Alabama at Riverwalk Stadium, home to the Tampa Bay Rays’ Double-A affiliate, the Montgomery Biscuits.
Tickets for single games at War Memorial Stadium can be purchased through the Peninsula Pilots website and go for $10 for general admission, $15 for grandstand seating, and $20 for field level box seats. ODU students with a valid student ID will be admitted free.
