NORFOLK, Va. – Old Dominion men’s tennis challenges Kentucky on Friday, May 2 in the first round of the NCAA Tournament.

The match begins at 2 p.m. in Winston-Salem, North Carolina at the Wake Forest Tennis Center. Fans can follow along with streaming on Playsight and live stats through Sidearm.

ODU is coming off its third straight Sun Belt Conference Championship after a 4-2 win over Georgia Southern. The Monarchs are on a four-game win streak with a 17-8 overall record and went undefeated in the conference.

Kentucky is entering its ninth-straight NCAA Tournament after losing to Auburn 4-3 in the first round of the SEC Tournament. The Wildcats are 16-11 and went 7-7 in the SEC. They are currently ranked No. 32 in the ITA with three different players ranked in singles and one duo for doubles.

This is the first ever meeting in men’s tennis between ODU and Kentucky.

The Monarchs sit at No. 55 in the ITA rankings with brothers Codie and Connor Van Schalkwyk placing 86th for doubles.
