NORFOLK, Va. – Old Dominion men’s tennis returns home to host in-state rival James Madison as part of the Townebank Royal Rivalry.
The match is set to begin at 10 a.m. at the Folkes-Stevens Tennis Center. Fans can stream the game through Track.Tennis with live stats also available through iOnCourt.
Old Dominion is coming off of a 4-3 win against South Alabama, where there were five lead changes before Yanis Moundir clinched the match with a 5-7, 7-5, 6-3 win over Juan Accossatto. ODU was supposed to challenge Troy to end the weekend, but because of inclement weather, the match was canceled.
James Madison has a 5-9 overall record and looks to end its five-game losing streak in this rivalry matchup. The Dukes most recently fell to Troy by a 4-0 score, bringing their Sun Belt Conference record to 0-4.
ODU is ranked 60th in the ITA with Connor Van Schalkwyk coming in at 123rd for singles, where he holds a 9-8 record.
