NORFOLK, Va. – Old Dominion men’s golf is headed to Southern Pines, North Carolina this week to play in the Babygrande Golf Donald Ross Collegiate.

George Mason is hosting the two-day tournament at Mid Pines Golf Club on Monday and Tuesday, March 10-11. The first day will begin with an 8:45 a.m. shotgun with teams playing 36 holes, and the second day will have tee times starting at 8:30 a.m. for the final 18 holes. The course at Mid Pines is a par 72 and is 6,657 total yards.

Live stats will be available on Scoreboard. Babygrande Golf will also stream the Collegiate on YouTube.

The tournament field will consist of 20 teams: Bowling Green, Dayton, Elon, George Mason, Georgetown, George Washington, Loyola Chicago, Loyola (Md.), Ohio, ODU, Saint Joseph’s, Seton Hall, South Dakota, St. Bonaventure, St. John’s (N.Y.), Toledo, Towson, UT Chattanooga, William & Mary and Xavier.

ODU’s lineup will include Philip Minnehan, Kaijun Ma, Jacob Gunther, Cullen Campbell and Jakub Sutor.

This will mark the fourth straight year that the Monarchs will compete in George Mason’s tournament. The team had its highest finish in 2024, placing third out of 16 teams with a final score of 3-under par 861. Gunther led the way with a 4-under 212 to tie for fifth. Jakob Chicoyne carded a 3-over 210 to tie for 24th, and Ma turned in a 4-over 220 to tie for 29th.
