NORFOLK, Va. - The Old Dominion men’s golf team will play in its third of three tournaments hosted by East Carolina this weekend when the Monarchs travel to Snow Hill, North Carolina to play in the Cutter Creek Intercollegiate.
ECU is hosting the three-day tournament at Cutter Creek Country Club. The course has a par of 72 and is 7,327 yards.
The field will play 18 holes each day and each round will begin with a split tee start from 8-10:12 a.m. Fans can follow along with live stats provided on Scoreboard.
There will be a total of 13 teams in the tournament, with the rest of the field consisting of lineups from Campbell, Charleston Southern, Francis Marion, Gardner-Webb, Harvard, North Carolina A&T, Presbyterian College, Robert Morris, Sandhills CC, Temple and Winthrop.
For ODU, the lineup will include Kaijun Ma, Jacob Gunther, Philip Minnehan, Jakub Sutor, Joe MacPherson, and James Page.
This weekend marks the third tournament hosted by the Pirates that ODU will play in during 2024-25. The Monarchs tied for eighth at ECU’s Ironwood Collegiate Classic in the fall and finished 12 in last week’s ECU Intercollegiate.
The Monarchs are looking for their third-straight Top-5 finish at Cutter Creek after placing third in both 2023 and 2024. Jacob Chicoyne was ODU’s top finisher last year, tying for seventh at four-under par 212. Ma was one stroke behind him and tied for 10th at 213, and Jakob Henriksson tied for 21st with an even score of 216.
