Old Dominion (7-3) is coming off of a close 14-12 win over Winthrop on Wednesday afternoon. In this game, Ella Bowen recorded her second straight hat trick while goalie Brynn Bowen grabbed 11 saves.
James Madison (5-3) is looking to rebound after falling in a close game against No. 12 Virginia by a 14-11 score. The Dukes are 1-0 in the American Athletic Conference after they opened play with a 20-8 win over Vanderbilt.
Sarah Murrell, who has won two straight AAC Freshman of the Week honors, continues to lead the Monarchs in scoring with 28 goals after netting two in against Winthrop. Alex Kulinski follows behind with 22, while Callie Culhane holds a career-high 14. Meanwhile, Bowen has 73 saves and six wins.
