NORFOLK, Va. – Old Dominion lacrosse stays home to host Winthrop on Wednesday, March 19 at the L.R. Hill Sports Complex.
The game will kickoff at 1 p.m. and will stream through ESPN+ with live stats also available for fans.
Old Dominion (7-3) is coming off of a 15-9 win over Charlotte last weekend. This marks the first American Athletic Conference win for the Monarchs since 2021, including Head Coach Theresa Walton’s first conference win at ODU.
Against the 49ers, Sydney Taylor recorded her 100th career point on top of two goals, while Alex Kulinski and Ella Bowen each had a hat trick. Sarah Murrell also led the team in ground balls with seven while Goalie Brynn Bowen accounted for 11 saves.
Winthrop (2-4) is looking to bring its win streak up to three after holding off Merrimack last weekend in an 18-17 overtime win.
Murrell continues to lead the Monarchs in scoring with 23 goals in the season, while Kulinski follows suit with 19. Callie Culhane has a career-high 12 goals on the year after netting two against Charlotte, and Bowen holds 72 total saves.
Murrell was awarded her fourth AAC Freshman of the Week honors, the league announced on Tuesday, with Kulinski being named as an honorable mention.
