NORFOLK, Va. – Old Dominion women’s tennis returns home to host Charlotte on Saturday, March 15 at the L.R. Hill Sports Complex. It will be bark in the park day and dogs are permitted for Saturday's game, but they must be on a leash.

The game begins at 12 p.m. and will be streamed on ESPN+ with live stats also available.

ODU (6-3) is looking to rebound after falling short to Mount St. Mary’s last weekend by a 9-8 score. Sarah Murrell recorded her fifth hat trick of the season and second straight five-goal game against the Mountaineers, while goalie Brynn Bowen accounted for eight saves.

Charlotte (5-4) is coming off of its own close loss to American, where the game went into overtime and ended in the Eagles favor, 15-14. The 49ers average 16 goals a game, and have had four 19+ scoring games.

Murrell continues to lead the Monarchs in scoring with 21 goals. Alex Kulinski follows behind with 16 while Callie Culhane has 10. Megan Hopfensperger also continues to lead in assists with eight, while Lydia Laney and Sydney Taylor have six and five respectively. Bowen’s save total is up to 61 and she leads the team in ground balls with 19.

McKenzie Raech was named AAC Defensive Player of the Week for the second consecutive time after accounting for two draw controls, two ground balls, and causing two turnovers against Howard and Mount St. Mary’s last week. Murrell also earned Freshman of the Week while Kulinski was named as an honorable mention.
