ORLANDO, Fla. – Old Dominion University women’s swimming is tied for third place after the first day of the Sun Belt Conference Women’s Swimming Championships held at the Rosen Aquatic and Fitness Center in Orlando, Florida.
ODU finished third in the opening event of the championship, the 200-medley relay, as the team of Kiersten Donnelly, Mary Dunworth, Angela Sicaja and Lauren Masters delivered a time of 1:41.28. The team is an ODU record and NIC qualifying time.
The Monarchs came in fourth in the 800-freestyle relay as the team of Kristilynn Mosley, Sophia Kapla, Mallory Mackay and Bella Pachek finished in a time of 7:41.11.
The championships continue tomorrow with the prelims at 10 a.m. and finals beginning at 6 p.m.
