MANAHAWKIN, N.J. - The National Field Hockey Coaches Association has released its 2024 Division I National Academic Squad with 15 student-athletes from Old Dominion Field Hockey making the list. Student-athletes must earn a 3.5 GPA throughout the fall academic semester and current academic year.
The following field hockey members were named to the team: Alex Bandura, Suus Broers, Sian Emslie, Lauren Holbrook, Sydney Holbrook, Josi John, Serena Langendoen, Kerry McCormick, Toni Minichello, Mackenzie Olsommer, Josie Painter, Ainsley Papierniak, Nicolette Saccomandi, Rina Tsioles, and Jolene Ulichney.
“We are really proud of our student-athletes for being named to the NFHCA National Academic Squad. This is a testament to all of their hard work on and off the field during our Fall Season and to our academic staff for their support. Each have dedicated many hours to their studies, working late nights and long hours on away trips, in study hall and in the classroom.
