JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Old Dominion University junior swimmer Bryce Mortiner was named the Atlantic Sun Swimmer of the Week, the ASUN announced on Wednesday.
Mortimer earned a pair of victories to start 2025 for the Monarchs in last weekend’s quad meet against William & Mary, East Carolina and Central Connecticut State. He won the 200-Yard Breaststroke with a time of 2:05.65 and the 200-Yard Individual Medley in 1:52.29.
A native of Richmond, Virginia, Mortimer becomes the third Monarch to win swimmer of the week accolades this season. He joins Zachary Redding, who has won it three times and Kiersten Donnelly, who has earned the honor twice.
