NEW ORLEANS – Old Dominion Quarterback Colton Joseph was named Sun Belt Conference Offensive Player of the Week, the SBC announced on Monday.
In Old Dominion’s 47-19 Thursday night win over Georgia Southern, Joseph had a career day. He completed 20-of-26 passes for 304 yards and four touchdowns. His 77 percent completion percentage, 304 yards and four touchdowns were all career highs. He also carried eight times for 68 yards and a score.
Joseph’s 56-yard touchdown pass to Pat Conroy was a career-long completion, while his 30-yard rushing touchdown in the third quarter was his longest career run.
Joseph ranks eighth among quarterbacks with six rushing touchdowns on the year.
