MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. – Old Dominion men's golf played the final round of the 2024 Myrtle Beach Golf Trips Intercollegiate on Tuesday, finishing 14th as a team.

The Monarchs turned in a combined 301 in Sunday’s first round, a 299 for Monday’s second round, and a 311 on Tuesday to end up with a 54-hole total of 911 (+47). Santa Clara won the team title with a 21-under par 843, Campbell placed second at 18-under 846, and East Carolina took third at 14-under 850.

There was a three-way tie for first in the individual standings as UTEP’s Dylan Teeter, Elon’s Jack Wieler and Santa Clara’s J.P. Odland each shot scores of nine-under 207.

For ODU, Kaijun Ma led the way with an eight-over par 224 to tie for 63rd. Philip Minnehan was next at 11-over 227 to place 72nd, and Jakub Sutor tied for 75th with a finaly tally of 14-over 230. Jacob Gunther turned in a 16-over 232 to tie for 81st and Garret Cameron rounded out the scores with a 32-over 248 to come in 86th.

ODU’s next tournament will be the Ironwood Collegiate Classic, hosted by East Carolina at Ironwood Golf & Country Club on Sept. 30-Oct. 1.
