NORFOLK, Va. – The Old Dominion Field Hockey team followed up a BIG EAST Conference Championship with a championship type performance in the classroom during the 2023-24 academic year.

NORFOLK, Va. – The Old Dominion Field Hockey team followed up a BIG EAST Conference Championship with a championship type performance in the classroom during the 2023-24 academic year.

The Monarchs had a spring semester GPA of 3.59 and delivered a cumulative GPA of 3.49. Sixteen players made the spring semester Dean’s List, which is a GPA of 3.40 and higher.

“This is the best-ever academic performance for an ODU field hockey team,” ODU Head Coach Andrew Griffiths said. “At the same time it was a groundbreaking year on the field, winning the Big East Championship Tournament for the first time. I’m really proud of the hard work this team has put in together to achieve what they have.”
