GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The Old Dominion Lacrosse team fell to #11 Florida on Saturday at Donald R. Dizney Stadium, 19-4. Cammie Mann scored two goals in the loss for the Monarchs.
Florida (9-2, 1-0) opened the first quarter with three goals before Mann got ODU (3-8, 0-2) on the board making it 3-1 at the 4:49 mark. The Gators responded with two more goals and would hold a 5-1 advantage to begin the second quarter. Florida made it 6-2 to start the second before Emma Arnold scored her 23rd goal of the season making it 6-2. Florida rattled off eight more goals in the first half and held a 14-2 lead at the break.
The third period of play started with the Gators scoring three more goals building their lead to 17-2 before Lilly Siskind notched her 20th goal of the season with 6:08 to play in the quarter. Opening the final quarter Florida led 17-3 and extended its lead to 19-3 before Mann scored her second goal of the day with 1:41 to play and the Monarchs would fall 19-4.
ODU is back in action on Saturday, March 30 at noon when they travel to Philadelphia to take on the Temple Owls for another AAC game.
