NORFOLK, Va. – The Old Dominion Women's Lacrosse team will host Elon on Saturday, Feb. 10 at 1 p.m. for the team's season opener.
The game will be streamed on ODUSports.com.
Last season the Monarchs opened their season at Elon, a game that saw ODU winning 12-11. It was the first season opening win for the program since 2018 and head coach Theresa Walton's first win as the head coach for the Monarchs. Payton Kisling scored the decisive goal with five minutes remaining and the Monarchs would hold on to win.
ODU returns 25 members from last year's team including second team All-Conference defender Katie McGrain. They welcome 13 new members including five transfers.
ODU will take on #19 Richmond on Wednesday, Feb. 14 at 4 p.m. in Richmond.
