ORLANDO, Fl. – The Old Dominion women's swimming team finished day one of the Sun Belt Championships tied for third place with Georgia Southern with 62 points. ODU competed in two events to start the four-day meet.

The first event was the 200 medley relay race. Old Dominion constructed a team of Kiersten Donnelly, Mary Dunworth, Martina Ciriesi and Tetiana Yevminova who finished third with a time of 1:41.52.

The second event was the 800 yard relay where ODU placed fourth. The team featured Lauren Masters, Mallory Mackay, Sophia Kapla and Lilly Cleal finishing with a time of 7:40.44.
The Monarchs will resume the event tomorrow at 10 a.m.
