NORFOLK, Va. - Old Dominion University Football linebacker Jason Henderson was named a midseason All-American by The Sporting News and the Associated Press, the organizations announced on Wednesday.
A two-year starter and team captain, Henderson leads the country with 92 tackles and is tied for the nation's lead with 13 tackles for loss. He has secured double-digit tackles in all six games this season and 21 times in his ODU career.
Last season, Henderson led the country in tackles with 186 and earned second-team All-America honors.
Henderson also earned midseason honorable mention All-America accolades by ESPN.
