NORFOLK, Va. – Coming off its stellar performance Thursday night in a 0-0 draw with Virginia Tech, the Old Dominion women's soccer team has a two-game home stand to close out the non-conference schedule starting Sunday with William & Mary.
Old Dominion (4-0-1) went toe-to-toe with the ACC member Hokies Thursday night in a scoreless draw. They are now one of only seven teams in the country to not allow a goal thus far this season.
William & Mary (3-0-2) comes in after a 4-0 win on Thursday night over George Mason at home. The Tribe has only allowed one goal in five matches, that in a 1-1 draw with VCU on August 27.
ABOUT ODU
Thalia Morisi and Ece Turkoglu lead the Monarchs in goals scored with two each. Turkoglu has added one assist to take the team lead in points with five, while Morisi has four. A quartet of players have three points as Kulha, Rhea Kijowski, Andrea Balcazar Algarin and Anna Torslov each have scored one goal and have one assist. In the net, Emily Bredek has recorded all five shutouts with four of them being solo clean sheets. The four solo shutouts matches tops her season total from last year when she was 4-3-2 for the Monarchs with three clean sheets.

The five shutouts to start the season is not only the best mark to begin a campaign, it equals the mark for consecutive shutouts set in 2018 and 2021.
ABOUT W&M
The Tribe enter the match with wins over Temple (4-0), Richmond (1-0) and George Mason (4-0) while tying VCU (1-1) and Saint Joseph's (0-0). They have alternated wins and draws through their five matches.
Ivey Crain has scored three goals for six points to lead the Tribe thus far. Lindsay Wilson has added two with one assist for five points, while four other players have tallied once for William & Mary. Ginny Delacruz leads the team in assists with two. In the net, Zoe Doughty has started four of the five matches allowing one goal and making one save for the Tribe.
