NORFOLK, Va. - Old Dominion women's golf head coach Mallory Kane announced the team's full schedule for the upcoming 2023-24 season on Monday.
The Monarchs will compete in four tournaments this fall, to include hosting the Evie Odom Invitational at Princess Anne Country Club in early October, as well as six tournaments in the spring. This year's regular season includes six familiar events as well as three new ones.
"My goal is always build a schedule that provides my players with opportunities to compete against the best in women's college golf. We will be playing in some great events this year and I am excited to see how our new roster will perform," said Kane.
First up for ODU is a trip to West Lafayette, Indiana to play in Purdue's Boilermaker Classic on Sept. 4-5. The Monarchs will then be in Greenville, South Carolina on Sept. 22-24 for Furman's Lady Paladin Invitational.
The third annual Evie Odom Invitational will be held at Princess Anne Country Club on Oct. 6-8, and the Monarchs then round out their fall season at The Ally Invitational, hosted by Mississippi State on Oct. 23-25.
"The highlight of our tournament schedule is always hosting the Evie Odom Invitational at the Princess Anne Country Club," continued Kane. "We have great support from the Odoms and our players enjoy the chance to play a home game."
ODU's first three events in the spring will see the team in Florida. First up is the UCF Challenge on Feb. 4-6 in Orlando, followed by the Columbia Classic on Feb. 9-11 in Melbourne. The Monarchs will then travel to Jacksonville on March 4-5 for North Florida's UNF Collegiate.
College of Charleston will host the Briar's Creek Invitational on March 11-12 in Johns Island, South Carolina. The Monarchs then wrap up the regular season at East Carolina's Ironwood Invitational on April 6-7 in Greenville, North Carolina.
The 2024 Sun Belt Conference Championship will be held on April 14-16, with the tournament site still to be determined.
