KINGS POINT, N.Y. - Old Dominion University Sailing finished in seventh at the MAISA Women's Dinghy Championships and 15th place at the Admiral's Cup over the weekend.
At the MAISA Women's Championship, the Division A team had an eighth place finish. The team consisted of Elizabeth Gildea, Katherine Barton and Alivia Markham. The trio garnered 11 top-10 finishes.
The Division B team consisted of the duo Megan Geith and Cadence Goodnight who had a fourth-place finish finishing in the top-10 in all their races.
At the Admiral's Cup, the Division A team of Rider Odom, Diogo Silva, Asia Acosta and Ethan Tutt placed 16th. The squad finished the weekend with three top-10 finishes.
The Division B squad of Parker Purrington, Grace Wright and Asia Acosta took 13th. The trio had five top-10 finishes.
The Monarchs return to the water as they are home for the American Trophy.
