CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. – The Old Dominion women's golf team has its final tournament of the regular season this Sunday through Tuesday at the Chattanooga Classic, which will be played at Chattanooga Fire Golf Club.
 
The Classic will feature a field of 18 teams: Augusta, Campbell, Central Arkansas, Chattanooga, Colorado State, East Tennessee State, Grand Canyon, Indiana, Jacksonville, Middle Tennessee, Minnesota, Notre Dame, Old Dominion, SMU, South Florida, UTSA, Xavier, Yale.
 
The three-day tournament begins Sunday with the Monarchs scheduled to tee off from the 10th hole between 11-11:40 a.m. The course at Chattanooga Fire GC has a par of 72 and is 6,209 total yards.
 
This is the second straight year that ODU will compete at Chattanooga. Last year saw the Monarchs finish ninth out of 20 teams with a 36-over par total of 900. Federica Torre and Pilar Muguruza both tied for 20th with scores of five-over 221 to lead the team. Jana Melichova shot a six-over 222 to tie for 26th, Elsie Verhoeven tied for 76th and Leah Onosato came in 100th to round out the Monarch lineup.
