NORFOLK, Va. – The Old Dominion women's lacrosse team hits the road this weekend when they travel to Campbell on Saturday, Mar. 4 to take on the Camels starting at 1 p.m. The Monarchs are coming off a dominant 18-10 win over Longwood on Wednesday, Sydney Taylor led the Monarchs with four goals.
Saturday's game will be streamed on ESPN+.
Lilly Siskind still leads ODU offensively with 16 points and 13 goals. Taylor is tied with Siskind with 16 points, she has 12 goals and added four assists. Moira Olexa has a team high six assists as well as adding eight goals. Caroline Shaefer leads the Monarchs with 15 draw controls. Maria Rekus has caused 14 turnovers in defense for ODU which leads the team, while Jenna Peccia leads the team with 30 ground balls and 58 saves.
Campbell is coming off a 10-7 win over George Mason on Wednesday. Sam Bischoff scored six goals in the win, and she leads the Camels offensively with 22 points and 20 goals. Rasa Welsh is second with 14 points and leads the team with eight assists.
Old Dominion leads the all-time series with Campbell 3-1, the Camels earned its lone win last season 13-12 in Norfolk.
