ODU fell to Furman on Saturday, 9-8. Sydney Taylor scored three goals in the loss.
Leading ODU (3-6) offensively is Taylor, she has a team- high 22 points, 15 goals and she is tied with Moira Olexa with seven assists. Olexa has 20 points and 13 goals.
Caroline Sahefer has a team-high 25 draw controls. Maria Rekus leads the team with 17 caused turnovers. Jenna Peccia leads the Monarchs with 41 ground balls and 105 saves in goal.
Mount Saint Mary's (1-5) is coming off an 11-8 loss to Bucknell on Saturday. Dani Donoghue and Abby Osmeyer both scored three goals in the loss. Donoghue and Osmeyer are first and second on the team in points and goals. Donoghue has 20 points and 16 goals while Osmeyer has 16 points and 14 goals. Erin Anderson has a team-high seven assists.
This is the first matchup between the Monarchs and Mountaineers.
