NORFOLK, Va. - Old Dominion University Football hosts James Madison on Saturday, Nov. 12 in the final regular season home game of the season at 1 p.m. This will be the first football game in the newly formed TowneBank Royal Rivalry Challenge, and it is the 72nd Oyster Bowl. The game will be broadcast on ESPN+.

Game Notes Old Dominion    James Madison

• ODU is coming off a 12-0 loss to Marshall, while JMU lost 34-10 last Saturday at Louisville.

• This will be the third meeting between the two programs and the first football meeting in the newly minted TowneBank Royal Rivalry Challenge. ODU and JMU last met on the football field in 2012, a 38-28 ODU win.

Jason Henderson recorded 19 more tackles to push his nation leading total to 148. He has 40 more tackles than the second leading tackler in the country.

Henderson Looking for More Records
A week after Jason Henderson set the ODU record for single-season tackles, he notched 19 stops against Marshall and moved closer to holding the Sun Belt Conference record as well.

He has tied or led ODU in tackles all nine games this season and has reached double figures in all nine games

Henderson is the only FBS player with two 20+ tackle game on the season. He notched 21 tackles against Arkansas State to set the ODU single-game record and broke it a month later with 22 stops against Georgia Southern.

Henderson was named a semifinalist for the Bednarik Award given to the Outstanding Defensive Player in the country. He was one of just two semifinalists from a Group of Five program. The other was Cincinnati's Ivan Pace Jr..

Harvey Continues to Produce
Javon Harvey led ODU in receiving yards for the second-straight games, catching four passes for 60 yards against Marshall.

Harvey ranks second on the team with 23 receptions for 371 yards.

In the first four games of the season, Harvey had two catches for 20 yards.

Hawkins Shines
After a week where he blocked a field goal and recovered a fumble, cornerback Tre Hawkins registered his second interception of the season last week against Marshall.

Hawkins is tied for the national lead with three fumble recoveries and is eighth in the SBC with eight pass defended.

Blocks R'Us
ODU blocked a field goal for the second-straight game and has now blocked four kicks this season. ODU ranks tied for fifth in the country with four blocked kicks.

Tre Hawkins blocked a field goal at Georgia State two weeks ago, and Chazz Wallace blocked one last week against Marshall.

ODU now has 10 blocked kicks (punts and kicks) over the last two seasons.
