Morgantown, W. Va. – The Old Dominion Men's and Women's swimming team participated in the WVU Invitational on Thursday, Nov 17 through Saturday, Nov. 19.
In the women's 200 freestyle relay ODU's team of Laila Webb, Miranda Byrne, Mary Dunworth, and Tara Enneking placed eighth with a time of 1:35.75.
In the Men's 200 freestyle relay, Ryan Lincicum, Gustaf Hansson, Jordan Davis, and Noah Wilkins finished in fourth with a time of 1:22.36.
Martina Ciriesi finished seventh with a time of 2:03.89 in the women's 200 IM.
In the Men's 200 IM Jacob Cobb finished fourth with a time of 1:50.58 and Bryce Mortimer placed seventh with a time of 1:51.05.
Noah Wilkins finished fourth in the Men's 50 freestyle with a time of 20.52.
ODU placed eighth in the Men's 400 medley relay when the team of Gustaf Hansson, Bryce Mortimer, Noah Wilkins, and Ryan Lincicum finished with a time of 3:20.94.
Gustaf Hansson, Bryce Mortimer, Oskar Iwarsson, and Noah Wilkins finished sixth in the Men's 200 medley relay with a time of 1:31.66.
In the women's 100 butterfly, Martina Ciriesi placed third with a time of 53.03.
In the Men's 100 butterfly, Oskar Iwarsson finished eighth with a time of 49.96.
In the women's 400 IM, Martina Ciriesi finished eighth with a time of 4:32.19.
Jacob Cobb finished second in the men's 400 IM with a time of 3:54.04.
In the men's 200 freestyle, Noah Wilkins placed fifth with a time of 1:38.86 and Ryan Lincicum finished eighth with a time of 1:41.60.
In the Women's 100 Backstroke, Tara Enneking finished fifth with a time of 55.17.
Gustaf Hansson placed second in the Men's 100 backstroke with a time of 49.21.
In the Men's 800 freestyle relay, ODU's team of Ryan Lincicum, Noah Wilkins, Ben Schattenberg, and Grey Bremer finished fourth with a time of 6:47.84.
In the men's 200 backstroke Jacob Cobb set an ODU record and placed second with a time of 1:45.62 and Ben Schattenberg finished in sixth with a time of 1:49.50.
In the Men's 100 freestyle, Noah Wilkins finished fourth with a time of 44.78.
Bryce Mortimer placed fourth in the men's 200 breaststroke with a time of 2:01.17.
In the Men's 400 freestyle relay, Ryan Lincicum, Jordan Davis, Jacob Cobb, and Noah Wilkins placed fourth with a time of 3:01.83.
ODU is back in action Dec. 18 at the Open Water Championships.
