"This was a very special night for our program and the team rose to the occasion. We celebrated the first class – the players who committed to building this program. I am so grateful for them and privileged to be their coach," ODU Head Coach Fred Chao said. "Tonight's match reflected a consistency of commitment that is a hallmark of this team. We played well last night despite our loss, so we felt confident that if we cleaned up a couple aspects, we would come out on top. Our seniors deserved this. And thanks to everyone who came out to support us tonight and this season.
