About Louisiana
The Ragin' Cajuns (9-8, 3-5 Sun Belt) are looking to snap a four-match skid. After a pair of straight-set losses to Texas State on Oct. 7-8, Louisiana dropped its first match at South Alabama last Thursday, 3-0. The team won the opening set of its second matchup with the Jaguars but came up short in the next three sets.
Kelsey Bennett and Lauryn Hill have scored 176 and 102 kills, respectively to pace the attack. Reka Kotorman and Siena DeCambra have split primary setter duties with Kotorman owning 352 assists and DeCambra at 287. The pair are also Louisiana's top servers with 13 aces each, while Coco Gillett is right behind the duo with 12 aces. On the defensive side of the net, Gillett paces the back row with 214 digs and Bennett follows with 174. Cami Hicks is the go-to option at the net with 73 blocks.
Louisiana is currently fifth in the Sun Belt's West Division. Texas State and South Alabama are tied for the division lead at 7-1 and Troy is third at 6-2.
The Ragin' Cajuns rank second in the Sun Belt with 2.48 blocks per set and are fourth in opponent hitting percentage (.182) and team attacks per set (34.83).
