NORFOLK, Va. -- The Old Dominion men's tennis team heads to the University of Virginia for the Intercollegiate Tennis Association Atlantic Regional starting Thursday and running through October 24.
Old Dominion will have five singles players in the 64-person silver draw and with a top eight finish those would advance to the 64-person gold draw. The silver draw starts on Thursday, while the remaining three automatically qualified for the gold draw begins on Saturday.
In the silver draw for ODU will be: Codie van Schalkwyk, Jakob Cadonau, Nicola Vidal, Brandon Perez and Oliver Tobisch. The gold draw will have Younes Lalami, Cosme Rolland De Ravel and Yanis Moundir representing the Monarchs.
In doubles, all the Monarchs made it into the gold draw with Cadonau/Schalkwyk, Vidal Le Tallec, Moundir/Dr Ravel along with Lalami/Perez participating.
Nearly 200 student-athletes from over 25 schools will participate with the winners in the gold singles and doubles draws advancing to the ITA Fall Nationals in San Diego in early November.
