NORFOLK, VA. – The No. 12 Old Dominion Field Hockey team will be home at the L.R. Hill Sports Complex all weekend as they host Villanova on Friday, Sept. 30 at 11 a.m. and they will turn around and welcome No. 22 Duke on Sunday, Oct. 2 at 12 p.m.
 
Both games will be streamed on Monarch Media.
 
The Monarchs are coming off a 6-1 win at Quinnipiac, Delphine Le Jeune scored the first two goals of the match for ODU. Aubrey Mytych scored the third goal and the fifth goal of the match. Sanci Molkeboer scored the third goal of the match, the goal was the first of her collegiate career. Frederique Zandbergen then scored the sixth and final goal for Old Dominion in the victory. Le Jeune was named to the BIG EAST weekly Honor Roll for her two goal and one assist performance. Molkenboer was named BIG EAST Freshman of the Week after she scored a goal in the match. Le Jeuneleads the Monarchs in goals (7) and is tied with teammate Marlon de Bruijne for points (15). Zandbergen is tied with teammate Courtney Lynch for the team lead in assists (6). 
 
Villanova is currently on a three-match win streak, they swept last weekend with a 3-2 over Temple and a 3-2 win over La Salle. The Wildcats are 6-0 when playing at home while they are 1-2 when they have been on the road. Meghan Mitchell leads the Wildcats in points (16) and is tied with Amanda Middleman for goals (6). Anne Drabbe leads the team with 10 assists.     
 
Duke is coming off an 0-2 weekend as they lost 1-0 to No. 18 Boston College, and then lost 4-2 to No. 21 James Madison. All six of the Blue Devils' losses have come against teams that are ranked in the top 25. Hannah Miller leads Duke in points (12) and assists (6) she has also added three goals which is tied for second on the team just behind Logan Clouserwho has four.
