NEW ORLEANS – Old Dominion University sailing sits in 16th place after day one of the College Sailing Open Eastern Semifinals in New Orleans on Thursday.
The Division A team of Rider Odom, Bridget Groble, Isabelle Kanach and Makalynne Dyer placed 15th. The team had a pair of top-10 finishes out of eight races.
The Division B duo of Jack Glenn and Katherine Barton finished in 16th on day one. They delivered three top-10 finishes out of six races.
Racing begins tomorrow with Division B beginning race seven at 10 a.m.
