NORFOLK, Va. – The 64th-ranked and fourth-seeded Old Dominion men's tennis team fell to fifth-seeded UTSA 4-1 on Friday afternoon in the quarterfinals of the Conference USA Tournament at the Folkes-Stevens Tennis Center.
In doubles, the Roadrunners took the team point with a pair of 6-4 wins at the top two spots. Francois Le Tallec and Oliver Tobisch were up 6-5 in their match at number three when the team point was clinched.
Singles saw Tobisch take the first match at number six for ODU (13-9) with a 6-2, 6-0 win over Maxim Groysman to even the quarterfinal at one-all. From there, UTSA won in straight sets at the one, three and five spots for the 4-1 win.
Saturday's semifinals will see second-seeded Florida Atlantic face third-seeded Charlotte, while at the same time top-seeded MTSU will face UTSA. Those matches start at noon.

Our guys kept battling like they did all year, but at the end UTSA was the better team today.
