DOVER, Del.Lilly Siskind scored four goals and added three assists for the Old Dominion women's lacrosse team on Friday afternoon as they ran away from Delaware State for an 18-1 non-conference victory.
 
The Monarchs jumped out scoring five goals in the first period.  Siskind assisted on the first goal finding Maddie Mullenbach for a 1-0 lead at the 12:19 mark.  The final goals of the period were alternated between Siskind and Sydney Taylor.  Siskind scored at the 10:41 and 8:55 marks, while Taylor added tallies at the 10:16 and with 25 seconds left to put ODU (3-5) up 5-0 after one.
 
Old Dominion put up four more goals in the second period as Corrinne Stratton scored on a man-up advantage at the 8:03 mark, while Jeslyn Krebs found the back of the net from a Mullenbach feed to lead 7-0 with 5:35 left.  The guests put two more in the cage in a span of 62 seconds as Sydney Taylor scored with 74 seconds left and Siskind rattled the cage with eight seconds for a 9-0 lead.
 
Siskind assisted on the first two goals finding Ali Mills and Mullenbach to push the lead to 11-0 at the 8:11 mark of the period.  She closed her scoring with four minutes left in the third to put the Monarchs ahead 12-0.
 
Brooke Ferringer scored twice, with Olivia Tannenberger, Jessica Pisani and Mullenbach adding one each to close out the run as ODU lead 17-0 with 3:36 remaining.
 
Chloe Tuck put the Hornets on the board with two minutes left, but Molly May finished the scoring for the Monarchs with 17 seconds from a Corryn Jones feed for the 18-1 final.
 
Mullenbach and Sydney Taylor added three goals, while Ferringer scored two to lead the Monarchs.  The Monarchs outshot Delaware State 40-8 in the contest as Jenna Peccia, Sabrina Leatherwood and Brianna Blatter combined to make three saves for ODU.
 
On Sunday, ODU returns to L.R. Hill Sports Complex to take on American at 1 p.m.
