NORFOLK, Va. – The Old Dominion men's golf team leaves the continental United States for the first time in 10 years to compete at the Dorado Beach Collegiate, hosted by UNCG at the TPC Dorado Beach Sugarcane Course in Dorado, Puerto Rico. The three-day event runs Sunday through Tuesday with live scoring available through Golfstat.
The Monarchs opened the spring season two weeks ago with a T8th finish at the Advance Golf Partners Collegiate in Palm City, Florida. ODU posted a three-day total of 889 (+25) and was just four shots back of the top-five. Sophomore Jakob Henriksson led the way for Old Dominion with a 6-over-par score of 222 to finish in a tie for 20th.
ODU will return to action on March 7 for the two-day Donald Ross Collegiate Classic, hosted by George Mason at Mid Pines Golf Club in Southern Pines, North Carolina.
