RICHMOND, Va. – The Old Dominion University men's and women's swimming teams have earned CSCAA (College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America) Scholar All-America honors, the CSCAA announced on Tuesday.
"Coach Livsey consistently produces winners in the pool and classroom and this year is no exception," noted CSCAA Executive Director Greg Earhart. "These are some of the best ambassadors of Old Dominion and Athletic Director Dr. Selig, President Broderick, and Dr. Stacie Raymer (Faculty Athletic Representative) can and should be proud of these 45 men & women."
The men's team posted a spring semester GPA of 3.53, while the women's squad posted a 3.44 GPA.
In total, 721 programs from 426 institutions earned the honor. CSCAA will name its individual Scholar All-America team next week.
