IRVING, TEXAS – Old Dominion men's soccer captain, Josh Thacker, was named to the Conference USA All-Academic First Team, C-USA announced on Friday.
A native of Hull, England, Thacker is one of four Monarchs to start all 13 of the games this season. The freshman center back has been an asset on defense, creating a cohesive backline while still recording one goal and twelve shots for ODU. A sophomore academically, Thacker is majoring in exercise science and has a 3.81 GPA.
The Monarchs will play their final match of the season Friday, Nov. 5 at 7 p.m. against South Carolina.
