NORFOLK, Va. – The No. 15 nationally ranked Old Dominion field hockey team will welcome Temple to the L.R. Hill Sports Complex on Friday, Oct. 22 at 1 p.m., before hosting William & Mary on Sunday, Oct. 24 at 1 p.m. Both matches will stream on www.ODUSports.com. Sunday's game marks Senior Day for ODU's Marlee McClendon, Alice Demars, Meghan Smart, Jessica Gabriel and Ilse Westera, who will all be honored prior to the match.

ODU is coming off a 2-1 victory over No. 14 Virginia, in a game that freshman Alix Marien scored both goals for the Monarchs. In the latest NCAA RPI released earlier this week, Old Dominion is No. 14. The Monarchs have won seven of their last eight contests, as well as 11 of their last 13. Old Dominion is 6-1 when playing at home this season. An ODU win against Temple on Sunday would secure one of four spots in the BIG EAST Tournament for the Monarchs.

Old Dominion ranks 20th in the NCAA for goals per game (2.43) and ranks 29th for goals against average (1.69).

Temple travels to Norfolk with a 7-7 overall record and a 3-2 mark in the BIG EAST. The Owls have lost three in row but carry a 5-2 road record for the season. Temple's RPI is No. 42, as the Owls sit in fourth place in the BIG EAST standings. Old Dominion defeated Temple twice last season by 3-2 and 1-0 scores in Norfolk.

William & Mary enters the weekend with a 3-10 overall record, a 3-2 mark in CAA play and a No. 62 RPI. The Tribe is coming off a 3-1 loss at Delaware. Old Dominion and William & Mary last met during the 2019 season, in a match the Monarchs won 3-1 in Norfolk.
