NORFOLK, Va. – Seven Monarchs of the Old Dominion men's tennis team are set to compete at the ITA Atlantic Regional this weekend at the Liberty Tennis Complex in Lynchburg, Virginia. Joining the Monarchs are members from Liberty, Virginia Tech, William & Mary, James Madison, Longwood and Radford.
The final eight participants in the singles Main Draw and the final four doubles teams will advance to the ITA Atlantic Super Regional, held at the Folkes-Stevens Tennis Center on October 23-25.
Luca Maldoner, Oliver Nolan, Yevhen Sirous, Oliver Tobisch, Codie van Schalkwyk, Nicola Vidal and Michael Walser will all be competing in singles this weekend, while Sirous/Tobisch and van Schalkwyk/Walser will team up in doubles.
ODU's Younes Lalami and Francois Le Tallec have already secured singles spots in the ITA Atlantic Super Regional, while Maldoner/Vidal and Lalami/Tobisch have already clinched spots for doubles.
