CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Old Dominion University swimmer Noah Wilkins was named the Coastal Collegiate Swimming Association Co-Swimmer of the Week, the CCSA announced on Tuesday. Fabio Faloso of Incarnate Word shared the honor with Wilkins.
Wilkins won the 100 freestyle in ODU's meet over the weekend against George Washington with a time of 46.02. He also led the Monarchs to a come-from-behind win the 400 freestyle relay with a winning time of 3:04.17. His split time of 44.58 was faster than his CCSA Championship winning time from a season ago. He also placed second in the 50 freestyle with a time of 21.10, just .02 behind teammate Liam Redman.
Wilkins and the Monarchs are back in the pool on Friday, Oct. 15 at 5 p.m. at Davidson.
