NORFOLK, Va. – The Old Dominion men's soccer team heads down to Boca Raton, Florida to take on Florida Atlantic at the FAU Soccer Stadium in its second C-USA match on Saturday night at 7 p.m. 

ODU (2-3-1, 0-0-1 C-USA) is coming off a 2-0 loss against VCU on Tuesday night. The Monarchs were led in shots by Eliot Goldthorp with four, as well as Liam Fisch, Eamon McLaughlin, and Ettore Casadei with three shots each. Eliot Goldthorp and Karan Mandair lead ODU with two goals apiece. Casadei shares the sixth ranking in the conference for shots (13) with Stephen Afrifa (FIU).  

FAU (4-1-1, 0-0-1 C-USA) is coming off a 1-1 tie against Coastal Carolina after double overtime. Tom Abrahamsson scored the lone goal for FAU early in the first half and registered two shots. Neil Strauber played 110 minutes for the Owls and recorded 10 saves. Fillip Jauk and Ivan Mykhailenko lead FAU with three goals each.  

Goalkeepers Djibril Doumbia (ODU) and Neil Strauber (FAU) are tied for third in C-USA standings for shutouts.  

The last time ODU and FAU played was in 2019 when the Monarchs won 3-1 in Norfolk at the ODU Soccer Complex.
