NORFOLK, Va. – The Old Dominion women's soccer team (1-0-0, 1-0-0 C-USA) will take to its home pitch once again to square off against the NC State Wolfpack on Sunday at 6 pm.
Old Dominion started its season out with a win against East Carolina. The Monarchs had several threats up top including Megan Watts, who had three shots and one of the two goals, Morgan Hall who had three shots, and Emma Gervase with the game winning goal in overtime.
NC State is looking to get its first win of the season, as it currently sits at 0-0-1 with a 2-2 tie earlier this week against No. 9 Georgetown after 110 minutes of play. Jameese Joseph proved to be a threat just as she was last season taking four shots and scoring one of two goals.
The last time ODU and NC State faced off was in the 2021 spring season. Old Dominion was unable to prevail, losing 2-0 on the road.
