NORFOLK, Va. - The Old Dominion volleyball team is set to host Marshall for a pair of C-USA contests at the ODU Volleyball Center on Sunday, March 21 and Monday, March 22. Both games are scheduled to begin at 1 p.m.
To accommodate Monarch fans as a result of the difficult circumstances related to the pandemic, the ODU Athletics department is pleased to offer free admission to all ODU volleyball games for the 2021 spring season.
The Monarchs (7-6, 4-4 C-USA) are coming off a pair of road losses at Charlotte. ODU owns a 5-1 mark on its home court highlighted by a 2-0 record in C-USA action at home. In ODU's last two contests, Madeline Rudd led the Monarch offense, compiling 19 kills total. Graduate outside hitter Alessia Sgherza averages 3.42 kills per set, which paces ODU and ranks eighth in the league.

About Marshall
The Thundering Herd (8-4, 6-4 C-USA) is most recently coming off a pair of home wins over Florida Atlantic in C-USA action. Marshall will close its regular season in Norfolk and owns a 4-1 record on the road. Ciara Debell leads the Herd offensively with 3.33 kills per set. The redshirt senior also paces Marshall with 3.67 points per set. On the defensive side, the team (16.30 dps) and Sarah Schank (5.02 dps) leads the league in digs.

The Center will have limited capacity (Approx. 200) with socially-distanced seating – Seating is first come, first served.
Entrance will open to patrons 60 minutes prior to the start of the match and is located at the NE corner of the Jim Jarrett Athletic Admin. Bldg.
Matches that are open to the public this season do not require a ticket and are free admittance, based on availability.
