ODU Hosts FAU in Key C-USA Battle on Friday at 7PM on CUSA.TV

NORFOLK, Va. – The Old Dominion women's soccer team (2-4-1, 1-2-0 C-USA) will welcome Florida Atlantic (2-2-2, 1-0-1 C-USA) to the ODU Soccer Complex on Friday, March 19 for a 7 p.m. start. Friday night's game will stream on CUSA.TV. To accommodate Monarch fans as a result of the difficult circumstances related to the pandemic, the ODU Athletics department is pleased to offer free admission to all home ODU soccer matches for the 2021 season.
 
Old Dominion is coming off a 2-0 victory against FIU in Miami, in which Morgan Hall and Cami Johnstone scored for the Monarchs. In the winning effort, ODU's Emily Roberts was named the Conference USA Defensive Player of the Week. The shutout was the third of the season for Old Dominion.
 
The Monarchs currently sit in a tie for fourth place in the league's East division, while FAU sits alone in third. The top eight teams (top four out of seven teams from each division) during the regular season, as determined by points, will advance to the C-USA Tournament in Houston on April 13-17.

Florida Atlantic is most recently coming off a 1-1 draw against Western Kentucky and a 2-1 win at Marshall.
 
A total of 824 fans will be allowed to attend home ODU soccer games due to COVID-19 restrictions. Fans will be admitted on a first come, first served basis. The gate on 43rd Street will open 60 minutes prior to kickoff. Fans can park in Lot 43.

  • No large gatherings inside the facility.
  • Please sit in the stands in the designated locations.
