ODU Set for Wednesday Game at NSU at 8PM on WGNT CW 27

NORFOLK, Va. – The Old Dominion men's basketball team (1-1, 0-0 C-USA) will travel to Norfolk State (2-0, 0-0 MEAC) for a Wednesday, Dec. 2 showdown at 8:00 p.m. EST inside of Echols Hall. Wednesday night's game will be televised in Hampton Roads on WGNT CW 27. The game will also be streamed for free via WTKR's website: CLICK HERE.
 
Wednesday evening's contest will also air across the ODU Sports Radio Network, with Ted Alexander and Billy Mann's live pregame show beginning at 7:30 p.m. ET.

Wednesday marks the 20th meeting between ODU and NSU, as the Monarchs lead the all-time series, 13-6. These two schools last met on Dec. 22 of 2017, in a game ODU won 61-50 at the Norfolk Scope. The first ever meeting between these programs occurred during the 1965-66 season, when ODU won 86-82. Old Dominion has won three straight games against the Spartans and seven of the last eight matchups. ODU is 1-3 all-time when playing on the Spartans hardwood.
 
ODU is in the midst of playing six straight games against opponents from within the state of Virginia. In fact, all five of the Monarchs scheduled games in December are slated to be against programs within the Commonwealth.
 
Old Dominion is coming off an 86-78 victory over William & Mary on Saturday night in ODU's home opener at Chartway Arena. ODU's 86 points scored against W&M this season was the most points scored by the Monarchs since Feb. 15, 2018, when ODU defeated UTSA 100-62.
