CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – The Old Dominion women's tennis team (4-0) handed Columbia (2-1) its first loss of the season by a 4-1 score at the 12th annual Intercollegiate Tennis Association Kickoff Weekend.
"Hats off to Columbia for a great match today," said ODU head coach Dominic Manilla. "I'm proud of how we gutted out the last three points required to get the W. It's a great when you feel everyone contributed to the team win."
Old Dominion will next take on the winner of No. 2 nationally ranked North Carolina vs. Auburn on Saturday, Jan. 25 at 3:30 p.m.
