SENIOR NIGHT: Monarchs Host UTSA on Wednesday Night (7PM) on ESPN3

NORFOLK, Va. – The Old Dominion men's basketball team (12-17, 8-8 C-USA) will welcome UTSA (13-16, 7-9 C-USA) to Chartway Arena on Wednesday, March 4, for a 7:00 p.m. ET tip on ESPN3. Wednesday will mark Senior Night for ODU's Aaron Carver and Drew Lakey. Fans are asked to arrive early and be in their seats by 6:45 p.m. to honor these two senior student-athletes.
 
Wednesday's game will also air across the ODU Sports Radio Network, with Ted Alexander and Dave Twardzik's live pregame show beginning at 6:30 p.m. ET.
 
Conference USA Standings
 
All-Time Series vs. UTSA:
Wednesday night will mark the 10th all-time meeting between these two programs, as UTSA lead the series, 5-4. Neither team has won two straight games in this series. UTSA defeated ODU in overtime earlier this season on Feb. 6 at Chartway Arena by an 85-81 score. The Monarchs are 3-2 when playing the Roadrunners in Norfolk. The two schools played each other twice last season (both took place in San Antonio), with each team winning once by one point. Since ODU joined Conference USA, the series against UTSA is tied, 4-4.
 
Old Dominion:
Old Dominion is 76-16 (82.6%) at home over the past six seasons.
 
Aaron Carver currently has 670 career rebounds, which is tied (with Gerald Lee) for 21st all-time for the ODU basketball program. Carver's father, Anthony, ranks 17th on ODU's all-time career rebounding list with 755 boards. Anthony Carver also ranks 5th on Old Dominion's all-time career scoring list with 1,958 points.
 
Aaron Carver's 300 rebounds so far this season ranks 18th in the NCAA.
 
As a team, ODU is ranked 29th in the NCAA for rebounds per game (39.34).
 
UTSA:
Jhivvan Jackson (27.3 ppg) and Keaton Wallace (18.7 ppg) are the top two leading scorers in the conference. In fact, Jackson is the second leading scorer in the country heading into Wednesday's contest.
 
The Roadrunners are coming off a 66-59 victory over UAB. Trailing by nine with 4:53 left in the game, UTSA closed on a 20-2 run to clip the Blazers, getting 16 points during the stretch from Jackson. He scored 14 of UTSA's 16-0 run to take the lead, giving him 28 points on the game.
 
Halftime Show:
Wednesday night's halftime show will entail Tyler's Amazing Balancing Act, which has been the No. 1 most-booked halftime act in college basketball from 2017-19. Tyler's Amazing Balancing Act has been seen on America's Got Talent, Ripley's Believe it or Not, Regis and Kelly, as well as ESPN.
