SAN ANTONIO, Texas – The Old Dominion (18-3, 8-1) women's basketball team is headed to the Lone Star State to take on UTSA (Thurs.) and UTEP (Sat.) in C-USA action. The Monarchs seek its eighth consecutive victory. The Thursday evening game will be streamed on ESPN+, a paid subscription service.
The Monarchs are coming off a 77-61 victory over LA Tech on Feb. 1. Amari Young led the Monarchs, recording 21 points and 16 rebounds, both a career-high. Sophomore Aziah Hudson knocked down six, three-point field goals en route to a season-high 20 points. So far this season ODU is 6-3 on the road, shooting over 40 percent in 12 of its games this season. Currently, the Monarchs are second the in the C-USA standings behind reigning C-USA champions Rice.

The roadrunners are currently riding a six-game losing streak. They last saw the win column against LA Tech by an 82-73 final in Ruston.
