MELBOURNE, Fla. - Play at the Moon Golf Invitational hosted by Louisville was suspended due to darkness. The Monarchs currently sit in 15th through over 30 holes of play. Play will resume tomorrow at 8:30 am and continue directly into the third and final round.
In the opening round, ODU shot a 304, led by sophomore Leah Onosato who recorded a 73. On the 6,279 yard track, Onosato recorded nine birdies in her 35 holes played, which is good for second-most in the field. She's currently tied for 22nd.
There are four teams tied at the top of the leaderboard in No. 2 Seminole State (NJCAA), No. 36 Louisville, No. 34 North Carolina and No. 12 Ole Miss.
