NORFOLK, Va. – The Old Dominion men's basketball team (10-15, 6-6 C-USA) will hit the road for two conference games, starting on Thursday, Feb. 13 at 8:00 p.m. ET, when the Monarchs take on Rice (12-13, 4-8 C-USA) in Houston, Texas on ESPN+. Then on Saturday, Feb. 15 at 2:00 p.m. ET, ODU will have a showdown with current C-USA leader, North Texas (16-9, 10-2 C-USA), in Denton, Texas, which will air on ESPNU.
Both games will also air across the ODU Sports Radio Network, with Ted Alexander and Dave Twardzik's live pregame show beginning at 7:30 p.m. ET on Thursday and at 1:30 p.m. ET on Saturday.

All-Time Series vs. Rice
Thursday night will mark the 11th all-time meeting between these two schools, as ODU leads the series 9-1. The Monarchs have won five straight against the Owls, including an 80-76 win last season in Norfolk. Old Dominion is 4-0 all-time when playing Rice in Houston. These two programs first met during the 1971-72 season, in a game ODU won 114-86.

Saturday night will mark the 10th all-time meeting between the two schools, as ODU leads the series 9-0. Old Dominion is 4-0 all-time when playing North Texas in Denton. These two teams last met last season in Norfolk, where ODU claimed a 72-61 victory.

The Owls will be riding a three-game win-streak into Thursday night's contest after taking down North Texas (84-75) and picking up road wins at UAB (86-72) and Middle Tennessee (91-83).
Rice is averaging 74.6 points per game and currently has four players averaging double-figures: Trey Murphy III (13.8 ppg), Robert Martin (11.3 ppg), Ako Adams (11.0 ppg) and Drew Peterson (10.0 ppg).
Meet North Texas (16-9, 10-2 C-USA)
The Mean Green enter the week with a 10-2 mark when playing on their home hardwood. North Texas has won two-straight games, coming off victories at Middle Tennessee (75-70) and UAB (71-64). UNT has won 10 of its last 11 contests and 12 of its last 14 games.
Leading the way for North Texas so far this season are Umoja Gibson (14.4 ppg) and Javion Hamlet (13.2 ppg).
