NORFOLK, Va. – Head coach Jeff Jones will seek his 500th career victory, when the Old Dominion men's basketball team (2-1) travels to Boston, Mass. for a Saturday, Nov. 16 game at Northeastern (2-1). Tipoff is slated for 1:00 p.m. ET at Matthews Arena. Saturday's contest will stream live on FloHoops and air across the radio dial on the ODU Sports Network, with Ted Alexander and Dave Twardzik's pregame show beginning at 12:30 p.m.

Coach Jones has compiled 499 career victories as a head coach, which ranks 71st in NCAA Division I history (tied with William Reinhart) and 25th among active coaches.
ALL-TIME SERIES:
Old Dominion leads the all-time series between these two schools, 8-5. The Monarchs have won four of the last five games in this series. These teams last met during the 2012-13 season, in a game ODU won 81-74 in Boston. These two programs first met during the 2005-06
season, in a game Old Dominion claimed an 85-79 victory.
LAST GAME:
Malik Curry led the way with 19 points, six assists, four rebounds and three blocked shots, as the Old Dominion men's basketball team (2-1) defeated Loyola (Md.) (1-2) by a 62-53 score on Wednesday night at Chartway Arena. In a game the Greyhounds never led, ODU led for 38:15 of the possible 40 minutes. ODU connected on 85.7% (6-7) from the charity stripe in the second half.
Xavier Green finished with 11 points, six rebounds and four assists, while Jason Wade followed with 10 points, six rebounds, five steals and two assists. For the game, ODU held a 24-12 advantage for points off turnovers.
C-USA PLAYER OF THE WEEK:
Earlier this week, Xavier Green was named the Conference USA Player of the Week. Last week, Green averaged 15.5 points, 9.0 rebounds, 1.5 assists and 1.0 steal per contest.

The Huskies were picked to finish third in the 2019-20 CAA Preseason Poll, behind Hofstra and Charleston. Northeastern enters Saturday's contest with a 2-1 record, with wins over Boston (72-67) and Harvard (84-79). The Huskies most recently fell at UMASS (80-71). Jordan Roland leads the charge for Northeastern, averaging 31.7 points per contest.
